Michigan (In Progress)
Mall Skin re-imagines an existing outdoor strip mall in West Michigan. It deploys a textured metal panel skin as a new lid on an existing arcade. The skin consists of a parametrically controlled pattern of banded textures that vary in height and in number of panels. The textured lid is punctuated by light wells within each bay of formed arches. The new arches and textured lid work together to re-skin the existing canopy space.
