Ann Arbor, Michigan (2015)
Peek-A-Boo combines steam-bending and children's play games to create a piece of household furniture. Steam-bent white oak staves are layered to produce a rigid, yet elegant structure. Voids are left in the mass to enhance a visual lightness and also provide apertures for young children to peek out - facilitating an impromptu game of peek-a-boo.
Dimensions (H x W x D): 18" x 18" x 16"
