Ann Arbor, Michigan (2014)
Project Size: 85 SF
The objective for Reflection Guest Bath was to create a space with clean, crisp lines utilizing light wood and glass that guests to the home will find bright and spacious. Given that this space is primarily utilized as a guest bath, low-maintenance materials and simple, easy to clean geometries were preferential. The narrow width of the space near the shower encouraged a reflective material to expand spatial perception and visual fields beyond the space's geometric limits. Material, tone, and texture are used to visually and physically unify surfaces into intersecting planes.
